If we utlize the turf, parents will be expected to exit the fenced turf area. In Waterbury, parents will be expected to wait outside the turf area. Please let us know if you have any questions prior to the evaluation dates.
Players are encouraged to attend both evaluation dates, as coaches get multiple looks at players and their very best performance for any given evaluation station is used in the selection process. The focus of player evaluations is to evaluate players on the following lacrosse-specific and dispositional attributes: 1) Positive response to coaching feedback; 2) Passing and catching with both hands on the move; 3) Stick skills; 4) Speed, Agility & Athleticism; 5) Defense; 6) Ability to play multiple field positions; 7) Competitive spirit; and 8) Field vision and play.
